Back To School Shopping
Despite some obstacles generated by COVID-19, the Tellico Village Kiwanis Club conducted its popular Back-to-School Clothing program at the Lenoir City Wal-Mart in July. The Club is especially indebted to our corporate sponsor, Malibu Boats, for its generous support of the event.
Held in collaboration with the Family Resource Centers of the Lenoir City and Loudon County schools, young students shopped for new clothes for the upcoming school year. Due to COVID protocols, the students and their families shopped on an individual basis. In years past, all the families shopped at the same time.
A special thanks is extended to Wal-Mart Store Manager Laurie Babb for all her help.
The program is intended to make that very special first day of school even more memorable.
